International Relations

International Relations is a field of study and practice that focuses on the interactions between sovereign states and other international actors, such as international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), multinational corporations, and transnational networks. It examines the political, economic, social, and cultural relationships that exist in the global arena, as well as the ways in which these relationships influence issues such as conflict, diplomacy, trade, human rights, and environmental policy. International Relations encompasses various theoretical approaches, including realism, liberalism, constructivism, and critical theory, and it seeks to understand how power dynamics, national interests, and international norms shape the behavior of states and other actors in the international system. The field is inherently interdisciplinary, drawing from areas such as political science, history, economics, law, and sociology to analyze and address global challenges and opportunities.
